1. About championships2. Union-Championships1. About championships
Participating in the championship
The championship is a long-term competition for experienced players. For participating in the championship your team must be at least level 4.
The championship is divided into several leagues and divisions (i.e. League 2, Division 2-A). The goal should be to step up to the first league. The two best teams in each second league’s groups will be marked for participating in following season’s first division. It works in the same way in the third, fourth, and all other leagues.
The two worst players in each group will step down into the following season’s lower leagues.
If more players want to participate in the championship as seats are available (each division requires 256 players), the selection will be done in order of experience points to the time of registration.
League groups are formed with 16 teams. The games in each group are played in certain times, which can be selected in the application phase (after creation of groups this time can be different of your selected time).
Your application can be sent or canceled until the championship starts.
Championship games
The championship will take several weeks to be completed. Each group has to play 30 games. In addition, the Cup matches (Champions League and Champions Cup) will take place. You can check your schedule by opening the menu championships. Group matches are marked with an image of a football field, cup matches with a trophy. (Note: In certain circumstances it may happen that cup games are covered by group games. We try to avoid this with an appropriate selection of match dates. Starting with the 4th championship season, it should not be a problem anymore).
Preparation for a championship game
Schemes for league and cup matches can be submitted in advance. The games will automatically take place at the estimated time. If you should ever forget to submit your lineup for a game, the system will create a scheme automatically.
Important Note: The system will always use the current values of morality, injury and stamina for the game calculation. For example, if you submit your scheme a few days before the game is played, the system will not use the values you sent, but the current values at the time, when the game is played. So you should be aware that your players are as fresh as possible when it comes to a championship game.
League standings
After each game the standings of your group will be updated. The standing’s ranks are first sorted by the number of each team’s points. If there are two or more teams with the same number of points, the goal difference will be used to sort the standings. If the goal difference is equal too, the team with more goals scored will be sorted first.
Rewards
The most successful players can win prize rewards and spots for the major tournaments.
The top three in each league will receive a medal for their profile.
The prize money for the top three of the first league:
1. Square: 50,000
2. Square: 25,000
3. Square: 10,000
The scores of all players will be entered in their profiles.
Preparation for next season
The next season begins with an application period.
The various leagues and divisions will be set up, first using the results of the preseason (promotion and relegation). Second the system uses the experience points of the candidates, as long as promotion and relegation will not be affected.

2. Union-Championships
Participate in the union Championship:
The union Championship is a long-term tournament for Football Unions (FU). Football union leaders can send an application for the Championship.
The Championship is divided into two divisions: Gold and Silver. Each division will be filled with 16 FUs.
You can participate in the union Championship by joining a Football Union. For joining a FU you need to be at least level 3.
Championship matches:
A Championship season is planned for a period of 15 game days (5 days per week). Every game day is assigned in the union Championships calendar.
Procedure:
Any union member, who decides to play for his union in the Championships, can search for an opponent on a game day. Press "Find an opponent" and the system will look for an opponent FU member. If there is an opponent’s application, the match starts immediately. If no suitable opponent is available at the moment, the user will be set in Standby-mode, waiting for an opponent to apply for a game. Users, which win a game, bring 2 points to the Championships game. A draw brings 1 point.
union members, who apply for a game at “Find an opponent” and have to wait for an opponent, will have a home game. If the game starts immediately because an opponent already had an open application at “Find an opponent”, the union member, who didn’t need to wait for a game, will have an away game. This is tactical interesting for the bonus points for home games (check below).
Income from the stadium is spread. 50% of the income will be added to the financial account of the home team. Also the Football union of the home team gets 50% of the stadium income. The away team does not receive any stadium income.
* Possible combinations of games:
level 3 vs. level 3 and level 4
level 4 vs. level 3 and level 4
level 5 vs. level 5 and level 6
level 6 vs. level 6, level 5 and level 7
level 7 vs. level 7, level 6 and level 8
level 8 vs. level 8, level 7 and level 9
level 9 vs. level 9, level 8 and level 10
level 10 vs. level 10 and level 9
10% of total points restriction:
If a user has already scored more than 10% of all points for his union, further applications for games will not be added. The user can apply later, when the percentage of his score is less than 10% of the total score. This restriction is active after the union has reached at least 20 points.
The order of scoring:
Points are accumulated in matches from 21pm GMT to 20:59pm GMT. The winner is determined by the score at 20:59pm GMT. Football unions get 3 points for a victory, for a draw 1 point, for technical victory ** -1 point and for a technical loss ** -2 points.
** As all unions should play active in the union Championships we added a penalty for not playing many games per day. If a match between two football unions ends with winner scored less than 150 points:
a) the winning union and the losing union did not reach150 points..
b) if the score is tied (with less than 150 points for each union), both teams get -1 points.
Example: union A vs. union B 30:20. Both unions did not play many games and get penalized for that. Though union A has won the match, one point will be removed from the total points (-1). As union B even lost the match two points are removed (-1).
With a result of 30:30 in example, both Unions get a penalty of -1.
If Unions are playing much, also a losing FU should be rewarded for their active playing. And if a union dominates its opponent, it should also be rewarded special. For this we added the Bonus Points:
a) if both opponent Football Unions score 150 or more points, both unions receive bonus points***.
*** Explanation of bonus points: If the difference between the score of the winning union and the losing union is 100 or more, then the winning union receives 4 points, the losing union receives 1 point. If the difference is less than 100 points, the winning union receives 3 points. The losing union is rewarded with 2 points.
b) union, which play more home games (because of sending more requests to “Find an opponent”), also get one bonus point at the end of the game day
Scoreboard:
After every game day the standings get updated. The union’s rank in the Championships depends on the number of earned points. In case of equality of points the difference between victories and defeats is taken. In the case of equality of the difference in the matches, the number of victories is taken.
Technical victories/defeats are listed in brackets in the standings *.
